Show The Dixie Owl, St. George, Utah D .N. C. 19 20's Dear Ma, Last time I wrote I said Id tell you about the other Fourth Years when I get acquainted. Well, to begin with, there the smartest bunch in school. Ever body says so, even Mr. Hall you know hes bout the most professor e in the Paculty, he said Hazel Bunker couldnt get per cent in any subject. I anything less than ninty-nin- e think the rests just about as smart and I believe everybody else feels the same about it, I know I do. We got some officers in our class to kinder look after us and keep us strait und see that none a the other classes dont git to actin smart around us. Pfirst we got a President Henry Miles, he wus a judge once but now hes aspired to the President ship. Annie Gardners Vice President to help Henry. Then theres Louie Woodbury, Secretary and Treasurer. Athletic Manager William Pulsipher, Debatlook-inston- ing Manager William Stucki, Commissioner of amuseFye Knell, Cheer Master LeRoy Whitehead. Guess you dont understand what all these mean, no course you dont cause you haint even seen the Dixie School. Were a goin to have some big times this winter. We had one last Saturday night, in one of these swell homes down here. It was one peach of a time. The Faculty must a known we wus goin to have somepin good to eat, for they were nearly all there. There not so dignified as you might n think, why, the way they laughed and played wus most that.s a new word Ive learned since I came to I school, cant tell you just what it means, but you have to use your imagination on most everything these days. Muther, you needent a worry about me this winter, cause we got a ma and pa down here to look after us. Our Pas name is Mr. Bleak and Mas is Miss Redd.
