Salt Lake City's most popular advisory board, will be expanded from seven to nine members to divvy up duties for the growing airport The expansion was suggested by Mayor Palmer DePaulis as part of his evaluation of all city boards and commissions The change was approved by the City Council this week The board sets policy for the international airport Mayor DePaulis has said that more people seek membership on that board than any other in the city. The council reappointed Continental Bank Vice President Mirvin Borthick and Utah AFL-CIPresident Eddie Mayne Smiths Management Corp. attorney Tom Welch will replace the spot vacated by Kem Gardner. The ceremony will be held near the sculpture.
