He served his country In World War II as a Motor In the U.S. Army where he was Chief of Surgery In on Evacuation Hospital. After the war Dr. Johnson set up private practice In Fort Worth, Texas, where he remained for 30 years. During those yers he died pioneering work on mony of the life saving techniques used In todoy's heart surgery. Dr. Johnson was o member of several medical societies, Including the American Association of Thoroctc 4 Cardiovascular Surgery, the American College of Car ecology and the American College off Surgeons. He was on the staff on numerous hospitals. He Is survived by wife, son, Ronald Clive, daughters, Ms. JoAnn Joehne, Cynthia, Ms. Susan McCurdy and Ms. Kim Couch, he also leaves five sisters and two brothers.
