Show ffounty w LL J FERRON Ghosts and goblins held their revels Saturday night in the basement of the Mission school house where Alpha Alpha Al-pha club had summoned them to make their frightful appearance. The hall was decorated with black cats (and some were real) and bate, corn, pumpkins, potatoes and carrots, while the carpet of dry leaves and the logs for benches gave one a decidedly creepy feeling. Twenty ghosts were present and crept stealthily through the dark and wierd ins and outs of the grand march. Some of their faces were pleasant and bespoke of a happy earthly life while some were dark and forbidding. An old hag in her corner let out blood-curdling yells over her steaming black kettle., The delicious refreshments were appropriate ap-propriate for Hallowe'en and weT served by three witches. After the unmasking the remaindWr of the evening was spent in lively games. |
