Show HUNTINGTON Funeral services were held last Monday Mon-day over the remains of little Roy Stevenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stevenson. The boy passed away at the hospital in Castledale last Sunday, where he had undergone an operation for appendicitis. The funeral services were exceptionally impressive. The fourth grade students, who were Roy's classmates, attended in a body, offering many floral tributes. Many of his young friends had written him while he was at the hospital, expressing tender sympathies. sympa-thies. The following little boys acted as pall bearers: Lenas McArthur, Lee Guymon, Merrill Furlong, Kenneth Brasher, Q. Johnson, Myron Johnson. The speakers, Albert Guymon, A. C. Gardner, J. H. Killpack, and Antone Nielson, expressed many comforting thoughts and the choir rendered the following anthems: "Oh, My Father," "Rest for the Weary Soul," "Shall We Meet Beyond the River." An epidemic of picture shows seems to have taken us by storm, but the biggest big-gest and best show was the showing made Tuesday evening, when the Nixon hall was feimply jammed as a result ot Mr. Nixon proffering the use of his hall and picture show for the benefit of the ward in raisiim means to complete the water service in the meeting house. The town board at its regular meeting meet-ing last Saturday changed the ordinance regulating merchants' licenses. Mart Jensen, president of the Electric Light & Telephone company notified the board that the company would apply for a franchise. The town board resolved to purchase some trees to be placed on the public square, and at a special meeting held Wednesday evening an order was made for one hundred trees. (Too late for last week) A meeting of the Farmers organization organiza-tion held Wednesday, the 3d, was attended at-tended by Ben R. Eldredge of the Agricultural Agri-cultural College, who gave a very fjee talk on Dairying. Sam Grange and family, who are well known and well respected citizens, will leave us in a few days to make their home in Provo, A public social was given in honor of Bro.
