| Show BOARD OF EDUCATION the regular meeting of the board of education was hed bold monday all the members being present prin A B D taylor of willard Wll lard asked the board not to place in principals office in building at willard referred to member cook with power to act alma jensen appeared and asked for van coite tor for north corinne children denied lewis grant presented a petition signed by self and four others asking for establishment of school at head of 0 blue creek denied board appropriated 1250 to help pay tor for chimney on old school building at board and supt bupt jensen went in a body to inspect high school and lincoln school buildings upon reassembling it was waa decided to postpone opening ot of high school and willard school one week and school will open in the old buildings of brigham monday and meet in those buildings for a couple of weeks member hansen instructed to inspect dear bear river building and report it if ready for opening decided not to commence school in boothe valley until it Is evident there are enough children to justify establishing school supt bupt jensen the supervisors principal merrill and the city teachers were appointed a committee to arrange a social for the county teachers to be held during institute C W goodlive Goodli Ee was appointed supervisor at park valley C J burk burh was released and C C harrington appointed supervisor at lucin lucan supt bupt jensen gave a report of visit made by himself and member jones thru the west member jones was authorized to have necessary repairs made in the various st riols t t in the wes pres and supt bupt jensen were authorized to secure rooms for extra school in garland until new ne w school Is ready A J munns vas as appointed janitor of high school jas sheffield as janitor tor for central and whittier and geo freeman as janitor for lincoln |
