Show ORANGEVILLE Election day passed' off without any jars to any extent. There was a little flurry though. When the caucus was held and a ticket put up to be voted on, there were but a few in attendance and opposition to the ticket or any part of it, instead of being voiced at the caucus, cau-cus, was left to the day of election when the name of Andrew Anderson was urged for president in opposition to E. L. Peacock who was elected. The Creamery is running full blast with Andrew Anderson as milkman. The people should patronize it and make it a success. George Fox is making a survey of the water system line along Main street, the pipe for the whole system is on the way, and trench digging is the order of the day. i |
