Show E. S. A. NOTES How glad we, who are interested in our Academy, are to see it growing as it is! New students are coming every day and the school is increasing in numbers num-bers as well as in spirit. This is the time to begin. There is no better time than next Monday. The students who have not been able to begin be-gin school at the regular time, we will be delighted to receive and assist in every way possible to make up what little they may have lost. The students in our school are ever jealous in their enthusiasm for the Academv. The Hallowe'en party given last Friday by the third and fourth years was a brilliant success. Everybody had a splendid time and we all feel so well about it that that we expect to repeat it often, not in the form of a Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en party but other "nifty" occasions. occa-sions. We give the people of Emery County a cordial invitation to all of our social "doings." The boys basket ball suits have come and they are practicing every day for the tryouts for the team. Look soon for some real sport in the form of basket ball games. The dramatic season is here. We have heard one play and expect to hear another an-other soon. Although the play hasn't been selected yet, we have several good ones from which to select our play and we believe we are going to have one of the best dramatic companies this year we have ever had. "Peg o' My Heart" is one of the plays under discussion. The student body is wide awake. The two parties, "The Adhesives" and the "Excelsiors" have splendid placforms. Party strife is running high but we feel confident that whichever wins will be the best. Friday night, November 12th, is the time for the next regular dance at the school. A new feature to be introduced intro-duced at these dances will be the teaching teach-ing of at least, one new dance each time. Two or three dances will be couducted as in a dancing school, so, urder Miss Bird's able tutorage we all hope to learn several new dances this winter. |
