Seely are among those from Castledale who are taking in the annual conference sessions in Salt Lake City. William Dugmore, merchant and general good fellow of Ferron, and Miss Olevia Andersen, daughter of Mrs. Maria Anderson, also of Ferron, and a very popular young woman of that town, were escorted to Price by Mayor Henry Thompson of Ferron, last Monday Mon-day on their way to Salt Lake City where they were to be married in the temple and take in conference. Miss Pernellie Thompson chaperoned them the rest of the way. Don C. Robbins, the wellknown booster of Emery county resources, was in the county capital this week on business connected with the Freed coal land in Huntington canyon. H reports the incorporation in the east of a big company to take over the Freed and other interests and to build a railroad from Price to them. The Denver and Rio Grande survey from Price has been chosen. It calls for close to thirty miles of railroad, ypor tonight Castle Dale has in contemplation con-templation a celebration such as will not soon be forgotten, bon fires, serenades, sere-nades, a fine program and other features fea-tures being scheduled in honor of "Win-the-War Day." It is expected that practically the whole town "will turn out.. A transportation committee commit-tee has in hand the conveying of all parents of soldier boys and the old people to the Academy hall where the celebration is to be held. County Clerk Peacock, explosives licencing agent for the county, wishes us to warn all who may now be using or selling any caps or other explosives without a license to beware, as the federal law on this subject is to be rigidly enforced. Licenses may be secured se-cured from Clerk Peacock for use in , Castledale and Orangeville and from the precinct Justices in other towns. Emery county's first Chautauqua is now a bit of past history but the institution insti-tution still goes marching on and another an-other Chautauqua festival will be with , us some time during next winter, twenty of the public-spirited citizens of Castle Dale and Orangeville so will-, will-, ing when they signed a contract for that time.
