Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS State Engineer's Office, Salt Lake City. Utah, June 22. 1916 Notice is hereby given that the Cottonwood Creek Consolidated Irrigation Company, whoBe post office address is Orangeville, Utah, has made application ap-plication in accordance with the requirements of the Compiled Laws of Utah, 1907, as amended by the Session Laws of Utah, 1909, 1911 and 1915. to appropriate one thousand twenty-eiffht (1028) acre-feet of water from Indian Creek, Emery County, Uiah. Said water will be stored from November 1 of each year, to June inclusive, of year following, in a reservoir constructed in the natural channel of the stream, which will inundate inun-date 89.4 acres of land embraced in Section 21. 22. 27 and 28, Township 16 south, Range 6 east. Salt Lake base and meridian. The center of the impounding im-pounding dam will bear south 21 degrees 40 minutes min-utes east 1477 feet from the southeast corner of said section 28. at which point the water will be released and allowed to flow down the natuial channel of Indian Creek to Cottonwood Creek, thence down Cottonwood Creek to the headgates of the Great Western. Clipper and Mammoth canals, said headgates being located as follows: Great Western Canal, north 66 degrees 12 minutes east 1155 feet from the west quarter corner of section 15: Clipper Canal, north 81 degrees 30 minutes east 1419 teet from the east quarter corn-erof corn-erof section 24: Mammoth Canal, north 26 degrees 10 minutes east 1"47 feet from the southeast corner of section 14, all in Township 18 south, range 7 east. The water will be used from July 1 to October 31, inclusive, of each year, to irrigate 18.000 acres of land embraced in section 23 and 24, Township 18 south. Range 7 east; section 11, 12, 13, 14 15 17 to 36, inclusive, Township 18 south, Range 8 east; sections 17. 18. 19. 20, 30 and 31. Township 18 south. Range 9 east; sections 1, 12, 13 and 14. Township 19 south; Range 7 east; Sections 1. 6. 7. 8. 9. 16 to 22, inclusive. Township 19 south. Range 8 east. Salt Lake base and meridian. This application is designated in the State Engineer's office as No. 6669. All protests against the granting of said application, ap-plication, stating the reasons therefor, must be made by affidavit in duplicate, accompanied by a fee of $2.50. and filed in this office within thirty (30) days after the completion of the publication of this notice.
