Show ! CLEVELAND Deon, the 8-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Einar Johnson, passed quietly away on Sunday, July 9th, of diabetes. Funeral services were held Tuesday. The sympathy of the community goes out to the hereaved family. Daniel Stokes is very pick at the hospital in Salt Lake City. The temple excursionists returned home Sunday and report a very pleasant pleas-ant journey. Those going were Louis P. Oveson, Moroni Oveson, Edward Larsen, Wm. T. Litster and Wm. D. Stones, together with their families and Misses Winnie Litster and Mary Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Knight are entertaining en-tertaining a brand new boy. AH concerned con-cerned are doing nicely. Mrs. Jacobsen of Vernal is visiting with her sister Mrs. Einar Johnson. Mr. Shoemaker of Manti together with his two daughters is visiting relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Davis and daughter daught-er Nellie have been visiting in Salt Lake. Their daughter Mary, who has been there for some time, will return home with them. The trial of Clarence Pherson, charged charg-ed with a statutory offense, which was to have been held on July 17th, has been postponed until the setting of district court. The girl in question having 'just given birth to a child she was unable un-able to attend the trial. The Primary will assist the general committee in celebrating the 24th. |
