Funeral services were 'held in the local meeting house last Friday over the remains of Joseph Caldwell, well-known well-known Molen resident, -who died Feb. 12th, following a lingering illness of over a year's duration. The end finally final-ly came at 6 o'clock in the morning, ; in the presence of surviving relatives I and friends. . The speakers at the ser- vices were H. P. Itasmussen sr., Chris-I Chris-I tian Petersen, and John Zwahlen, all i of Ferron, each speaker breathing I words of comfort and encouragment to the bereaved children. The wife I of the deceased, with three or four children, preceded him, the following ! children surviving: Bishop J.1 Edwin Caldwell, Mrs. Ed Beach, Miss Evelyn ! Caldwell, and Mrs. Stanley Jensen. Twelve grandchildren also survive. Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Larsen are rejoicing over the arrival of a fine Valentine baby girl, born on the 14th. I All concerned are reported doing well. I Mr. and Mrs. Chris Petersen were j paents to a still-born baby girl the lat- ter part of January, the whole com-; com-; munity sympathising with them in j their sad loss. I A Liberty bond dance given Monday ' night was well-attended. j |
