Show CASTLEOALE-CREEN RIVER ROAD LOOKS FINE The men who have been engaged in j making the new Castlcdale-Green River stretch of the Midland trail are all in j now, together with their teams, and, they report a wonderful result for the woik they have put on this stretch of road. The road is now complete from the intersection w ith the state road just ! north of Castlcdale right to Green River, with the exception of putting in : the necessary culverts and bridges j wiiich w ill be attended to when the men j go back this morning to remain for a 1 week or so longer. There is also one j i little piece of grading to be done over j a hiil but this is only a job of a couple of hours and the whole of the road w 11 have been graded well before the 17th j inst., when the Indiana people who are i now on their w ay, will have reached this section of the trip. It is hoped that ; a few showers may come up before that time, however, as they would greatl.' help to p:ick the loose soil there is in places at the present timo. ; Though every eifort is being made to ' get Pi ice canyon and the Park district opened up for traffic, it is reporte I that this is despaired of and it is understood that Sevier anil Sanpete people are : making good use of this opening and ; are preparing their roads to catch the traffic that will h .ve to come that way j if the Price route is not fit for travel. j |
