Though the weather, unfortunately, was cold and disagreeable, the comfortable conveyance convey-ance to from the Relief hall that Mr. Bowen so generously furnished in the form of his auto, and the cheery welcome wel-come they received on every hand gave the weather little room in their thoughts The program went off without a hitch, and the committee, the Evans orchestra, orches-tra, Clerk Bowen, the assisting ladies, and the public generally are all to be thanked and congratulated for the happy hap-py hours it was their privilege to give our honored old. A special meeting of the Commercial club, the membership of which is in creasing by leap3 ani bjunds, was held last Tuesday night. The change- in routing of the Midland trail was discussed dis-cussed and measures immediately taken tak-en for the construction of a good road to the Buckhorn where it will connect with the auto route passing there. Pres. Dickson and Messrs. James Peterson and S. P. Snow are working as a committee appointed to secure donation work or funds of every wideawake wide-awake man of the town. Work is expected ex-pected to begin the coming week.
