Paul McCullough, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCullough, 4919 Soramet Dr. (273S East), last Sunday finished second place in the World Series of Snowmobile Racing at West Yellowstone, Wyo. The finish in the United States Snowmobilers Association competition was the most recent notch in a long chain of achievement with a snowmobile. When he was 14, the first year Paul raced competitively, be won the 440 cc stock A Class race at West Yellowstone sponsored by the Western States Snowmobile Association. - The next ye&y, he woo the ec and 440cc stock classifications in the tame WSSA competition. Last month be won the Utah Snowmobiler Association's race in Manti and earlier in the arbiter be became the Idaho State snowmobile racing champion with a first place finish in the championship race at Montpelier. 340 Hes got about 40 trophies sil over the house, said his father. Speeds reached upwards of 80 miles pe hour on the track supported by 14 inches of ice. It was unbelievable, Mr. McCullough said.
