Jackson Clash Over Closed Meeting on Energy WASHINGTON (APi The head of Common Cause and Ron. Henry M. Jat'kst'ii dashed in ail angry exchange Wednesday over whether private congressional negotiations on President Carter's energy bill should be open to the press and public. David Cohen, president of the public interest group, protested that top House Senate energy conferees were meeting behind dosed doors to work out u compromise on the natural gas pricing part of the president's energy and plan. Cohen joined a group of reporters stationed outside the dosed meeting room near the House chamber.
