Show CLEVELAND Mrs. Peter Johnson, who has been ill for several weeks is reported to be much worse-the past few days. Plans are being made to install a new light and heating plant in the town hall. We wish them success. John Snow of Orangeville and Andrew Peterson of Castledale were business visitors Wednesday. The Orecolo motion picture' company gave a preformance in the town hall., Tuesday night to a small house. The people of this place do not appear to be in sympathy with motion pictures. Miss Grace Cox. who has been suffering suffer-ing with a sprained knee for the past week, is much better and able to get " around on dry groud but we fear it will be some time before Miss Grace try the skates again. " Mr. L. Peter Larson, was out of town on business Monday. He has been hired manager for the Cleveland Co-op another year. R. Whitmore of Sunnyside was in town Friday and Saturday buying cattle we are told. Mr. J. H. Otterstrom and wife will visit in Hiawatha Saturday and Sunday . with Mrs Otterstrom's sister, Mrs. W. E. Christensen. Mrs. W. T. Lamph left for Ogden Saturday to attend the funeral services of her mother who died at that place Friday.January, 20. It is rumored that several of Cleveland's Cleve-land's popular young ladies have taken advantage of leap year and been successful. suc-cessful. We are expecting to hear the wedding bells soon. A town basket-ball team is being organized and when spring comes we trust they will make things lively. |
