Quite a large force of men are employed there this week and they are crowding it through as quickly as possible. Dr. Fisk came over in his auto Monday Mon-day to make a professional c ill on Lro. N. C. Christensen, who is still on the sick list. Sarah Ann Cowley of Sunnysiie is here on business, also visiting with her two sons and relatives. Co-op Manager L. P. L irsan is goi ig to Salt Like next week. Kate Christensen will attend the M. I. conference in Salt Lake City. New arrivals at the homes of George T. 0.natt, abov and Henry Rasmussen. Mr. Frederickson an I son, Manti contractors are here looking after the building of our new school hou-ie. Excavation Ex-cavation work has commenced. This windy weather has been a drawback to the adobe making. The son's wife accompanied ac-companied them and intends to spend the summer here. Carpenters are busy building a lumber shed for the Cleveland Co-op. Building material will now be carried by that institution. W. E. Erickson, who bought the north part of the Cleveland school house, is tearing it down. He intends to build I this summer. Erick Larsen is also preparing pre-paring to build. Bishop Jos. J. Larsen has been working on his lot this week. He intends putting up a frame building this summer. When completed it will undoubtedly be one of the nicest homes in the county. Work on the addition to our town hall was to have commenced last Monday, but on account of the canal break it was 'postponed ofie week. |
