Show DIPHTHFRIA IS FOUND IN CASTLEDALE Diphtheria was discoveeed at the home of G. F. Hickman last Sunday night.' and Dr. H. G. Merrill took down at the same time at W. J. Seely's. The schools were both promptly dismissed Monday morning and the town board has quarantined all places containing persons known to have been exposed. Only one other case has appeared, Mrs. Glassman being the one affected. As she had been in the store every day up to the time of taking sick the store has been closed until it can be disinfected. disin-fected. None of the cases are at all serious, in fact the patients are all on the road to recovery, and it is thought that the precautions taken will prevent any further spread of the disease. All public gatherings are prohibited by the town board. Where the disease came from is not known. |
