Show ACADEMY DRAMA WASA C303 ONE Decidedly out of the usual run of plays was the one presented by the Academy Dramatic company in Castle-dale Castle-dale Tuesday nigh: and following in Huntington, Ferron and Cleveland. It was a play to stir one to thoughts of the conditions that exist in some of the factory towns of the country and contained con-tained much drama hut little sen!im"nt-ality. sen!im"nt-ality. To many it was the best play they have put on in the last couple of years while to others it was not as good as the usual. All the people are not pleased in the same way. The play dealt with the conditions that obtain in a factory town wdien a strike or lockout is on and both sides had a chance to show up in the best light their ideas of the situation. And when it came to violence the distorted ideas of both sides stood out very plain- i ly At the last it was left for Miss ( Dimple to show up the errors of both ( and point out a path of safety and rirht. About all the fun was introduced oy the darkey, of course. The players were: J. W. Johnson, Clell P?tty", T. W. Dyches, A. B. Willey, Raphael Sorenson, Mrs. J. W. Johnson, Esther Fitt, Hazel Acord, all of whom ! played their parts well. I The solos by Mrs. J. W. Johnson and ( A. B. Willey were well rendered and a ; pleasant feature of the entertainment, j I |
