Show The Story is Told by Date on Your Paper None of the Progress subscribers has any occasion now to say "I didn't know I was so far behind on my subscription." The date when your subscription is paid to is printed on every paper. Following your name is the date from which you owe, if it is a date that is past, or if a future date, the time to which you are paid. For example: "10nov09" after a name means that the person is paid to November 10, 1909, and is a little over one year in arrears- If it reads "6janll" it means that the subscriber is paid in advance to the 6th of January, 1911. Every time a payment is made the date is changed in accordance with the payment. When you pay your subscription the date on your paper should be changed not later than the following week. If you pay up and the date of your expiration is not changed by the next week we would appreciate it if you would notify us. On the other hand if you hold receipts showing that there is any error in the date as it is shown now let us know so the matter can be adjusted. We want it right. Another thing: We would like to have them all paid in advance. It looks bad to have a labl show that you are a year or two beeind it is bad bad for you and for the man who pays the bills for paper, ink, printers, print-ers, rent, fuel and haa babies to feed- Get your label up-to-date or ahead and then keep it that way. |
