Married Garth G. Chamberlain on August 13, 1938 in Midvale, Utah, later solemnized in the St. George Temple. Laura moved to Kanab in 1949, and in 1952 became and operator of Moqui Cave with her husband Garth, which they operated until 1988. She served faithfully in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. She was a staunch pinochle player.
