The first couple of meets will prove to be appetizers for the big region championship coming up in a couple of weeks. In their host tournament at Coral Cliffs Golf Course in Kanab, the Cowboys forget to put on their game faces. They were pummeled by region opponents North and South Sevier. When all the dust had cleared, the linksters found themselves in a huge hole at the course in which they were supposed to dominate. Coming in with a 387, Kanab finished fourth behind South Sevier, which shot a 365, North Sevier, which carded a 378, and the Beaver Beavers who outshot Kanab by four strokes. Quamberg shot a solid 95 giving him eighth place, while Tyson Glover carded Mi tied South Sevier for second 5-- 5, ? among region foes. They were nipped once again by North Sevier.
