LaCee Yoho, Alexis Thacker and Kevin Long attended. At the competition LaCee competed in medical terminology and creative problem solving, while Alexis competed in medical terminology and extemporaneous health poster, and Kevin competed in extemporaneous health poster. All three students also competed in the HOSA bowl competition. The Kanab HOSA club is advised by Julie Nannenga and Helen Hunter. The Utah State HOSA Compe - Career Day at KMS On Februarv 21, a Govern- - ment Jobs Career Day was sponsored by Kanab High and the Department of Workforce Services. Three high schools were represented with about 400 students from Kanab, Valley and Fredonia. Fourteen agencies and 20 presenters talked about what they do in their agencies and how to become involved. Three personnel clerks also came with information about student intern programs and how to apply for different types of government jobs. Almost everyone involved found it to be a great learning experience with interesting presentations and fun stuff to do and look at.
