Additional chairs were set up each night as the word got around about the excellence of the play and the quality of the cast. Colten Jordain played Scrooge and he stole the show with his interpretation of the notorious stasher. He was visited, as the story goes, by the spirits of Christmas Past, played by possible. Mr. Mark Whipps was the Technical Director and Erik Baron was the Stage Manager. Our stage crew consisted of: Quade Johnson, Cash Jessop, Steven Judd, Stephen Studebaker, Shawn Henry, Kim Lathim and Kacey Simmons. The string group of about S5 members, resined up the bows and polished the instruments fora fine rendition of Christmas music. The enthusiastic group was met with the same response fromiriends, family and fellow students. Lorene Lamb paid special tribute to Tom Willardson, a recent retiree from the Kane County School District. Ms. Lamb thanked Tom for his support of the string orchestras of the past and expressed deep gratitute for all he has contributed to die strings program. For such a young group of musicians, the touch on the violins and other instruments was very pleasant to the ear and most heart warming to see the progress the young people have accomplished under the fine guidance of their instructor, Lorene Lamb. Thank you, all involved fora wonderful moment of music to add to the Christmas cheer and spirit of the season. Photo by Myma Cox.
