Friends of the Library celebrate the commitment this community has to its library, its citizens and its future. Sincerely, Patti Talongo Secretary of Friends of the Library PFUSA Dear Editor: At our December 16 Executive Board Meeting, the Kane County vs Bu'loch Brothers road lawsuit was discussed. The most current information we would gather on the subject is that Bullcchs are suing the county for one million dollars in damages because of the County's claim that the road across Bullochs private property is a county road. At the county commission bearing on this issue, Mark Habbeshaw Executive Vice President for Access expressed his concern with the countys claim of this road across private property. Mark also clearly informed the county commissioners that PFU S A does not involve fences on private land to access private property. Although we cannot be held responsible for every member of our organization, this again is totally contrary to our belief in the sanctity of private property. We do not condone nor support anyone trespassing on or causing harm to private property. Cutting fences is a tactic of the green movement that has been harmful to ranches and private properties throughout the west. We themselves with road claims encourage our members to reacross private property and in port any vandalism of private fact take a strong position on the property to our county Sheriff.
