He was bom on October 4, 1949 in Kanab, Utah to Marriner and Nellie Jones and graduated from Kanab High School in 1967. He earned a Bachelors degree in physics from California Institute ofTech-nolog- y and a Doctorate in Behavioral Biology from Harvard University in 1977. Roger married Wendy Lee Radke June 12, 1974 in the MantiL.D.S. Temple. His career included working on the University of Washington Medical School Faculty as an assistant research professor and many years with Boeing, working as a company service computmanager for CAD-CAof death. at the time his ing Roger was an r "tive member of The Church of Jesus Christ of -- y ies- especially those involving his family. He will be remembered for his lifelong love of learning, jolly nature, enjoyment of mountain biking and drumming, many friends, and the kindness he displayed continually to so many people. His family and church were most dear to him. He displayed an uncommon courage during the final months of his life while battling his injuries. Survivors include hs eternal sweetheart, Wendy, his children, Jennifer, currently serving an LDS mission in Uruguay, Julie, a student at BYU, Steven, a sophomore at Bellevue High School; his sister, Marjorie Heybome of Kanab, Utah; nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and an older brother who died in infancy. Public funeral services were held Friday, November 19 at the Bellevue LDS Church. Darren Montgomery Darren Troy Montgomery Sr. , 32, was released from his mortal life on November 21, 1999 after a courageous oneyear battle with complications resulting from gunshot wounds. Everal Bowler, and numerous loved ones. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Gil Hamblin and many other loved ones. Born September 22, 1943 in Springville, Utah to 1985 graduate of Stevens-Henag- er Business College of Salt Lake City. She was a loving, compassionate mother and grandmother. She enjoyed quilting, tole painting, sewing, gardening, and cooking. She especially enjoyed her job as Tribal manager for the Kaibab-Paiut- e Tribe. She was active in community politics and served on the Fredonia Town Council. As an active member of the LDS Church she served as a Relief Society President, in theYoung Womens and Primary, and was an avid temple attender. Survivors include her husband Chuck of Fredonia; daughters Cary Allred of Tooele, Utah, Cathy (Todd) Beeman of Apache Junction, Arizona, Crissy (Kim) Judd of Fredonia, Arizona; son Scott Rodgers of Fredonia; brothers and sisters Rowena (Dave) Smith of Phoenix, Giff (Carolyn) Earley of Fredonia, Ronnie Earley ofSt. George, Linda (Art) McKinney of Alamagordo, New Mexico, Ila (Andre) Bundy of Fredonia, and Vickie Hafen of St. George; eighteen grandchildren and one She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Cyndee.
