Melvin, Rachel and Dustin Cox spent some time. in St, . George, for Melvin to participate in a Hunters Education Seminar. Julie Slade of northern Utah spent the weekend with her sister, Susan and Richard Esplin and family. She teaches school in Logan. Rena Taits sister, Ramona and Arlo Hafen of Santa Clara and her brother LeVel and Dean Chamberlain of Cedar City, Pink Sand Dunes State Park spent a week in Salt Lake City on business. Dellas and Collene Sorensen and most of their family members spent several days in Florida. Collenes father had been ill and passed away. L. Allen Cox and some of his children spent a weekend in southern California at Disneyland, after taking his son, Spencer, back to Las Vegas to report back to his military duties. Orderville 2nd Ward Cub Scouts held their monthly pack meeting at the Mt. Carmel Rock Church. This was a service project under the direction of their leaders, Heather Quist, Becca Esplin, Darnea Lamb, Judy Frost, Allen & Claris Cox, and Keone Stephens. They have beenholdingDenandPackmeet- ings at the Rock Church during the summer and wanted to show their appreciation. This area is saddened at the sudden death of Scot Goulding, husband of Cheree, and father of Scot, Suzie, Lyle, Lisa and Jeff. Funeral services were held in Orderville on Friday, November 20, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. iBf Blaine Wright, son of Buck & Jamie Wright of Peoria, Arizona, formerly from Kanab, and grandson of LoRen Wright of Kanab and grandson of Bill Finley formerly of Fredonia, has been called to serve in the Montana, Billings Mission.
