Brown has just returned from the Russia Rostov Mission of The Church of Jesus Saints. He Christ of Latter-da- y will be speaking in the 7th Ward Sacrament Meeting on Sunday, August 9, at 9 a.m. He is the son of Marlin and Delores Brown of Kanab. Bob and Letitia, Robert and Patty Henderson spent a day in Page, AZ helping a friend, Jean Frost, celebrate her birthday. John and Peggy Reese of Las Vegas, NV visited with Rena Tait, and also spent some time on Cedar Mountain. A Bluegrass Jamboree was held at the Larry Stevens farm in Mt. Carmel last weekend with about 50 people participating, and some local people enjoying their music. Paul Fisher of Boston, Mass h and Scott Fisher of Provo, sons of Roger Fisher, spent a few days with Larry and Janice Esplin. Also visiting them were Heidi MacFarlane and children of Cedar City. Hans and Betty Sorensen enjoyed a reunion with all but one of their children home for July 24th. Word was received by John Reese that his mother, Mona Fullmer had hip replacement surgery this week. Mutt and Mona have both had questionable health this summer and UT-bot- needed caused some flooding last Sunday, with a few people reporting property damage. A Barrus family reunion was held at Clear Creek Ranch last weekend and some of the family members attended church in First Ward. Corbin and Lori Partridge spent two weeks visiting Cleve and Lorene Esplin and other family members in this area. They returned to Louisville, KY, where they work and attend school. There were several other reunions held the weekend of July 24th, and these reunions always bring families together for Crosby called on mission to Russia Andrew Taylor Crosby has been called to serve in the Yekaterinburg, Russia Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. He will be speaking in Kanab 8th Wards Sacrament Meeting on Sunday, August 9, 1998 at 9 a.m. in the Kaibab Stake Center. He will enter the Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, August 12.
