Citizens interested in helping foster children find safe, permanent homes have a chance to join a state wide team of child advocates. During the 1998 Legislature the Foster-CarCitizen Review Board (FCCRB) was mandated to expand the number of Boards in operation around the state. Openings are available for qualified board members who will review foster care cases with the Division of Child and e Family Services. The FCCRB seeks to protect children in foster care while encouraging an appropriate and timely permanent placement for each child. The state FCCRB system is now recruiting volunteers to serve as board members in your area. The position requires a commitment of one day each month for at term and a least a one-yeabide by strict willingness to rules of confidentiality. The FCCRB will provide the required two-datraining work- The Mormon Battalion will sponsor a delicious barbeque dinner park following the Pioneer Day parade on July 24. at the city 24th of July celebration schedule The 24th of July celebration gets underway this Friday evening, in the city of Kanab.
