Bom January 6, 1918 in Levan, Utah to Heber Augustus and Annie Jeanette Schow Shepherd. Graduate of Juab High School. Navy veteran of WWII. Married Arline Newton July 27, 1936 in Provo, Utah. Solomnized in the Los Angeles Temple, April 27, 1956. Mr. Shepherd was a former resi- dent of Thousand Oaks, CA, Kanab and St. George. Preceded in death by half brother Carl Bowers and sister Ramona Woodruff. . .Funeral services were held on Friday, March 14, 1997 in the St. James Chapel in St. George, Utah. Kolin was bom December 4, 1976 in Monticello, Utah to Kenneth W. and Amy Palmer Redd. He and his family moved to Kanab in 1980 and Bowie graduated from Kanab High School in 1995. He was currently employed by Larry Rose Construction Company. Bowie played on the high school golf team, liked big game hunting and exploring the of southern Utah and northern Arizona. Lee, son of George E. and April Lee of 566. W. Swapp, Kanab, recently graduated from the Navys Basic Nuclear Power School at Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, NY. During the six-mon- th course, Lee received funda- mental training in several technical fields related to the nuclear power program. Lee studied basic mathematics and physics for three months in preparation for hands-o- n training later in the course.
