However, Tuftys bounced back and won five straight games to be crowned tournament champions of the First annual Kanab mens basketball league. SUN 66, IGA 51 Both teams were not at full strength as only four players showed up for their respective teams, but it didnt stop the SUN from coming back from a 33-3- 1 halftime deficit to win by 15. Tyler Cornell carried the SUN on his back as he netted a game high 34 points. Dennis Brunner added 18 and Sam Carpenter 12 for the winners. Mike Swayze scored 22 and Rodney Evans 14, while Brock Bundy put in four treys for 12 points for IGA.
