This class is designed to help those interested in amateur radio to obtain their first license. The class will be held at the Kane County School District office. All classes will start at 7:00 p.m. and con tinue for approximately two hours. The class runs for 10 to 12 weeks. At the completion of the class a test session will be held. Amateur radio is an interesting and exciting hobby. Beginners earn VHF privileges. For those who learn Morse code the world opens to them. Contacts are regularly made with other amateur stations around this earth. As the sunspot cycle is startingto increase longdistance contacts are becom ing more common. Any person who would like to know more about this hobby is invited to the club meetings. The next club meeting will be held on March 13.
