The first game came Friday afternoon in Kanab with the Cowboys taking on the Beaver Beavers. The Cowboys came out on top with the final thanks to Cash Kloepfer pitching a complete game shutout. Kloepfor in their half of the inning to stretch the lead to The Ti- gers got three runs but it was not enough as the Cowboys won 8-- 3. Casey Glover pitched a com- plete game for the Cowboys. The JV team played Beaver Friday after the varsitys game and also won to sweep Beaver.
