Show School SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY APRIL 10, 1996 Heaton chosen for exchange program By Stacey Heaton Elvis, Emily Heaton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Heaton, has been chosen to participate in the KikkomanFHA exchange student program. Emily will spend six weeks this summer living with a family in Japan. She will be experiencing the everyday life of this family. Emily was chosen after a lengthy process of answering questions, filling out forms, writing letters, and having interviews. She is one of only 20 students chosen in the entire United States for this program. Emily is the fourth student chosen from the Valley FHA Chapter. Emily is an honor student who has varied interests. She plays volleyball, sings in the church choir, plays cello in the Senior String Orchestra, and is a member of the Long Valley chapter of FHA.
