Cruise Control is just great. We wouldnt be without it. But are there times when I should turn it off? Answer: I agree it is a great invention. On the main highways your cruise control can save fuel, and minimize leg fatigue. But your cruise control should not be used on wet, slick, or icy pavement. Loss of control can occur, also, when moving from dry pavement to a slick area on a bridge or overpass. os 644-503- 644-588- -- Sept. 12-Roa- CLERK ter at COLLECTION NEEDED.
