The baking times listed are based on using a 650 to 700 watt microwave oven. Microwave Parmesan noodles 2 cups dry egg noodles cup water 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine 1 14 tsp. garlic powder 14 cup grated canned Parmesan cheese 14 tsp. dried parsley flakes Place water and noodles in a 2qt. casserole dish; microwave covered on high for 6 minutes, or until tender. Drain. Return drained noodles back into casserole dish. Add remaining ingredients and toss well. Cover casserole with lid and place in microwave on high for 2 min- utes or until butter melts and noodles are heated thoroughly, stopping to stir after one minute. Stir before serving. Serve hot. A large crowd enjoyed the music. Alton, Glendale, Orderville, and Kanab were represented. Speakers from the High Council in 2nd Ward were David Kropf, Tashina Barnhurst and Roy Ifropf of Kanab. Speakers in Orderville 1st Ward were Wayne Cox and Jason Sorensen, both of Glendale. Jason just returned from a mission to Oklahoma. Allen and Twila Cox, Melvin and Rachel Cox, Danny and Dustin, Doug & Letitia Cox, Kyron & Mary Ann Brinkerhoff Friday along with several Ward members to attend the Temple weddingof Duke Cox and Shiree Bundy. A luncheon was held at the Stake Center across from the temple. They attended a reception in Bunkerville, Nevada. Allen and Twila Cox stayed in Mesquite, Nevada and returned on Saturday. A reception was held in the Orderville Cultural Hall on Saturday night, with a large crowd attending both receptions. Kenneth and Deeona Cox of LaVerkin, Lewis and Sara Cox of Orem, visited at the Allen and Twila Cox home and attended the reception in Orderville. with Beth Sorensen f Visiting was her daughter, Mavis, and grand daughter from St. George. All Around Town By Barbara Pyles The sun has been bright and warm lately, but I know that winter winds will whistle again. Although winter doesnt bring me joy, there are happenings in this season that warms many hearts. old times. The Kane County Masonic Club in Kanab have elected new officers for 1994. Gene Roberson , is President; Ken Moore, Vice President and Walter Kerr is the new Secretary. The club was first organized in Kanab in 1 992 Marve and Thelma Adams of Kanab called with some bad news. Their son and daughter-in-laJack and Marilyn Adams felt the impact of the latest earthquake in California. The coupled lived in Chatsworth and lost their home and belongings. Its very sad to watch TV and see the damage the earthquake has done not only to buildings but to peoples lives. We are so fortunate that our children in CA are Marlin and Marilyn Lofton of Kanab had a wonderful Christmas. Their daughter and Anin and Ray Ellinwood of Findlay, Ohio and their children Chris and Ali all paid them a visit. It was the first time the Loftons had spent Christmas with their daughter in twenty-thre- e years. An added joy was having their son Dale and his wife and children, Sherrie, Ian and Jairus of CA. home at the same time.
