Jolea Schreiner, Sexton, Erin Sessions, Camillia Clinton Spendlove Winward. and Coconino County News By Bill Brechan 1 County Supervisors, District Last Board meeting on Monday, May 14, we had our first look at the department budgets. We spent several hours going over each one. The first draft of requests was only what our finance director called a Base Bones budget. It did not contain any capital items or request for salary increases. These will come to us next week. We have to give credit to all departments. They put a lot of work into their budget requests and most kept within the 5 percent increase limit. I am sure, however, when we get next week's budgets with meat" on them, money will be over the 5 percent increase limit. Our revenue projector for 198485 isn't too bad. With no unforseen emergencies occurring, we should end with a balanced budget. 1 enjoyed speaking to the Rotary Club in Page and the Chamber of Commerce in Fredonia during the w eek of May 8th. 1 hope some of you will let me hear from you on your ideas on County projects needed or how we can improve our current services. Your City Managers offices are receiving our Board Meeting Agendas so look them over. We meet the first and third Monday of every month. You should have the agendas by Thursday or Friday prior to these meetings. PAUL HAYCOCK DAN BRUSH tv,ni7 COREY CRAM Fa i M : 1 SANDY JOHNSON HOLLY JORDAN RICHARD C.
