Kanab Man Sentenced For Burglary Brad MacDonald, 25, was sentenced to a term of up to 5 years in the Utah State Penitentiary after pleading guilty to charges of burglarizing the Kanab Clinic last August. Judge Don V. Tibbs of the Sixth Judicial District also sentenced MacDonald at the same time to a term for driving while under the influence of drugs. That Utah News March 18, 25 and April 1, 1982. According to city clerk Keith McAllister, the more important issues discussed and decided by the council included rezoning of part of Ron Parkers property to a commercial classification. Parker plans to expand his tire and parts store. The council also rezoned the Don Swapp corner across from Heritage Savings to allow construction of a store. In other matters, the council decided to appoint Dennis Mosdell as City court judge. Earlier in the week the Kane County Board of Commissioners had selected Mosdell to serve the remainder of Judge Mark Browns unexpired term as Justice of the Peace.
