Dixie College attracted the meetings this year because Southern Utah is a center for folklore and folklorists. Collectors have found there a wealth of exciting and valuable Items. The climate and available accommodations are also an advantage. The Society was organized In 1958. Center of activity has been on the. campuses of the universities of the State.
