"Many parents want to be the exclusive providers of such .information, but may not have accurate or up-to-date information themselves, 11 Susoeff points out. "Many want the schools to handle HIV prevention education, which the legislature requires, but some parents are concerned that their children may be exposed to inappropriate, sexually explicit material or information related to l.V. drug use."
