They visited with both sets of parents. Funeral services were held on Wednesday in the Belmont Ward in Fielding, Utah, for Robert H. Nish. He was the father of Melna Schenck and the grandfather of Shirley Lee, both of Roy. Mr. Nish died on Sunday at his home in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Kay spent Mothers Day in Tremonton, Utah, with Mrs. Kays mother. John Heiser of Delaware has been in Roy visiting with his daughter Tracy and his sister in law, June Heiser. Mr. and Mrs. David Boothe are the happy parents of a baby girl, born May 5 at McKay Hospital. Mrs. Boothe is the former Juleen l, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George Reimschussel, and this is the young couples first child. Charles Groberg of Roy, along with two sisters, Lauri Groberg and Jean Groberg, presented a vocal recital on Wednesday at Weber State College. Mr. Groberg has Reim-schusse- sung roles in Handels Messiah and other musical productions. Ben and Gloria Standing have had Mrs. Standings parents from Idaho visiting with them for a few days. Its been an exciting time at the Carl Galloway household. Mrs. Galloway had a baby boy on May 6. He joins a family of five sisters. Dave and Cathy Mangel have a baby boy. A Roy man, Reed C. has been Niederhauser, elected president of the Ogden Transportation Club. He is assistant district traffic representative for the Southern Pacific Transportation Co. in Ogden. A baby boy was born to Dale and Sonya Rose on May 7. They now have three boys in their family. Howard and Bunny Terry were in Seattle, Wash., for a week. Howard was on TDY for Hill Field, and they took the opportunity for a little vacation. Iona Christensen, along with her sister and family of Kanesville, drove to Salt Lake on Sunday to spend Mothers Day with their mother. Corry Crookston, son of Richard and Clo Crookston, had an accident on his bicycle last week, requiring stitches in his face. Leland and Dorothy Saunders were injured in an automobile accident on Saturday in Willard. They were taken to St. Benedicts Hospital where they are listed in good condition. The Knit Wits club met last Tuesday at the home of Marilyn Whinham for an evening of handwork and visiting. Those attending were Jean Harris, Elsie Cottle, Betty Wood, Marilyn Beck, Virginia Wursten, Bobbie Thomas, Dorothy Lunt, Lynile Buhler, Ellen Rees, and LaRae McEntire.
