Waite, a big, handsome fellow who has 10 Shetland ponies and his own members now. Anson used to but Ive weigh 307 pounds, been reducing, he says, and now Im down to 243 pounds. Mr. Waites team held the Weber-DavPony Club speed record of mile in 16 seconds. The record now is 14 seconds, he says, so there are some faster ponies that can outrun mine. But few pony owners have more fun than Waite--h- e participates not only in the clubs regular speed races, but he races and pulls in such places as Ashton, Idaho; Jackpot and Elko, Nevada, and atRoy.Kam- is chariots.
