The talent contest, under the direction of the Young Farmers and Ranchers committee, will be held at 11 a m. at the Hooper Cultural Hall. The contest is open to anyone in the county under 30 years of age. The occasion of his trip to the Rocky Mountain area is the 5th Annual National AAU Junior Olympic Championships, which are being held Aug. Blaine won the right to represent the Idaho, Utah, Ari- zona, New Mexico, Oregon area capturing the Region X Junior Olympic Championships in the heavy weight judo event last July 31 at Ogden. Families will meet at Roy Park for a picnic at 6:30 p.m. with families bringing enough food for themselves. The drinks and desserts will be furnished eligible to compete in the Regional Finals. The AUU Junior Olympic program, sponsored nationally by the Quaker Oats Company, is conducted each year throughout the 58 district associations of the AAU across the nation.
