Show uhi Page IB North Edition Lakeside Review Wednesday, June 1, 1983 Classes to Offer Help for Newly Divorced The Davis County Mental Health Center is offering a series of classes to help recently separated or divorced people learn to cope with their new status. Coping Skills, a nine week di; LAYTON scussion group led by psychotherapist Joel Alba, provides support, practical information, and counseling to persons who are separated, in the process of divorce, or who have just divorced. Members of the group will discuss such concerns as legal issues, helping children understand, and new relationships. Emotional issues include coping with loneliness, dealing with guilt feelings, handling anger, and letting go. The group will meet Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. beginning June 9 at the Davis County Mental Health Center, 2250 N. 1700 W., in Layton. A nominal fee is assessed for all classes. Couple of Clearfield To Note Anniversary - and been active in the LDS Church. Mrs. Weatherston was born May 25, 1913, in Clearfield, daughter of Loy and Nancy Wood. She was employed by Davis School District as a lunch manager and was better known for her wedding catering and decorating upon retirement. The 50th CLEARFIELD wedding anniversary of Harold and Atheleen Weatherston will be observed Saturday, June 4, with an open house. The couple will greet friends and relatives from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Clearfield 10th LDS Ward, 300 N. 200 W., Clearfield. The Weatherstons were married May 25, 1933, in ' the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Weatherston was born Oct. 16, 1908, in Plain City, a son of George F. and Caroline Weatherston. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base for a short period of time then began farming in the Clearfield area. Eventually he opened his own proces. r; I ;l sing plant until retirement.
