hoase is wrecked ard twenty five persons as result of gas leaking from stove two of the occupants of the III batea bu id ng were blown from the beds tl the poof and were fatally ed pittsburg about twenty alve per ons were injured two fatally and c dwelling house was torn to pieces when an explosion of natural gas oc burred in a house located at elm street this city on frida in the fire which followed two firemen were severely burned the fatally injured mrs sarah giessman Gi ossman blown through he root jacob bergman blown through tho roof seriously injured Thre mem bers of the grossman fam ly esher bolner a guest of the grosshans Gross mans about fourteen other gersoni in the neighborhood received injuries when windows in their homes were shat by the concussion and plaster fell upon them apparently gas had been leaking from a kitchen stove all night early friday when a match was struck in the lower portion of the house to light the stove there was a terrific ex the house waa to pieces the roof was blown high into the air and the front and rear of the dwelling lapse mrs grossman and jacob bergerman a boarder apparently re bened the full force of the explosion both being blown from their beds through the root they were fatally a ired by the subsequent fall ana fire other members of the families which occupied the house were thrown aiom bed by the concussion and severely injured mr grossman who struck the match escaped with a severe but not fatally injury occupants in ad joining ho aises injured and tor time the entire neighborhood was pan ic stricken
