| Show L P thomsen ERRON and august nelson are both quite ill glendon the 9 ear old son of mr and mrs sam singleton died on monday morning of diabetes H ads their youngest bov and his 1 is a hard blow to the family by whom he was dearly loved in their bereavement the whole community feels a sympathy the funeral held at the meeting hoase on tuesday afternoon was well attended bishop beal D A lowery and jqhn were the ers tev J macgillivra formerly of salt aaice city has take charge of the presbyterian church work at ferron and is now residing here with his family they came in last saturday evening presbyterian SERVICES regular sunday services will be held as follows in the school rooms of the anan hall bible school at 10 a m morning wor h p eiith sermon ha m christian endeavor meeting 7 p song eer vice with sermon 7 30 p m also a mid week meeting on day evening at 7 SO for teacher train ing and prayer the i school conducted by misses la venture and is pio gressing finely and doing splendid work A feature of the school is th non denominational teaching of the bible one pupil is taking the classical course of first year high school work mr mcgillivray 13 assisting in the teaching A cordial invitation 13 extended to all to visit the school and attend the sun day meetings fred W cox and ande nee mrs lucy norton of orangeville Orang eville attended the b anniversary in manti last week of fred W cox sr at which abent relatives and friends were present mr and mrs hanec visited at the home of mr and mrs peter H madsen and other relatives in manti last week martinus larsen who left fen on for nampa ida about 15 months ago d ed at the boise ida last saturday and hia body was brought to price by his widow and brother edward larsen another brother N larsen of fer ron met the remains and funeral par ty at puce and brought all to ferron on wednesday the death of mr lar sen is a sad affair for he was in the height of the best years of his man hood being 34 years of age aad a man of good habits and by all who knew him he came to america from denmark with his parents and johanna larsen when but six weeke old for several years he lived at fer ron and about four years ago mar aed bios mios margaret hansen of molen who had emigrated from denmark about two years previous to her marriage he leaves two small children the youngest about ten weeks old his death resu ltd from an operation for bladder trouble preformed se hospital a few days ago funeral services were held in the ferron meeting house on thurs day and were well attended by relatives and friends of the deceased aud his family the speakers bishop L S beah of molen ex bishop H P and A G anderson spoke in kindly kemem brance of the deceased and consolingly to the widow and other relatives |
