Turcasso also placed fifth in speaking to entertain and communication analysis and sixth in poetry inTur-cass- terpretation. Miss Zook placed fifth in oral interpretation and sixth in in- formative speaking while Millie Breedlove placed fourth in persuasive speaking. The squad will be competing at regionals in two weeks against colleges from Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Colorado, Montana, New Wyoming, Mexico and Eastern Texas. The competition will be hosted by Dixie College in St. George. Business week Each summer, Utah Business Week, sponsored by the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, is held at Utah State University. The purpose is to give high school seniors and juniors practical experience in running a business and understanding how the free enterprise system really works. The dates this year are July To attend, students must obtain an application from their school business department and return it to their school by April 15-2- 1. 23. Not only does this program need ambitious students, it also needs sponsoring businesses that are willing to give financial support to send a student to this event. Businesses are encouraged to contact the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce for more information. Private trained Army National Guard Pvt. Jonathan P. Burridge, son of Sandra H. and G. Tom Burridge of 6G9 Windsor Road, Price, has completed the basic field artillery cannoneer course at Fort Sill, Okla. During the course, students were taught the duties of a howitzer or section gun crewman. They also received instruction in communications, maintenance and the handling of ammunition and explosives.
