It wouldnt have been as successful if it werent for the Old music To the editor: I read with Elizabeth Dewsnip, the many CEU faculty members who volunteered their time and effort and Fae Thomas of Community Services, who worked her days off to make sure everything was completed by show time on Friday. I appreciate all the venders it and organizations who participated. They had non-prof- outstanding displays demonstrations. It is simply not possible for any given radio station to please all of the people all the time, but at KRPX we do our best to please the largest majority possible most of the time. I would invite anyone with specific suggestions on how the programming offered by KRPX Radio could be improved to Barbara Marreli efforts of all those involved. I especially want to thank interest Mrs. Dean Gentrys letter and contact me personally of Feb. 29 in regards to the radio listening alternatives offered to Castle Valley residents. Dave Roberts Program Director KRPX Radio 2: 7:30-8:3- 0 at KRPX. In Mrs. Gentrys letter, she pleaded for more old music they could enjoy, and while the recommendation may have its merits, it is not of much use to us because the term old music is too broad. Is Mrs. Gentry saying that she wants to hear more classical, more jazz, more big band, more polkas, more classic rock, more 60s hits or something entirely only way this can be accomplished is by constant input and suggestions listeners. Th reader Letter 9:15-10:0- COUPON L. "5 M u a t U BOSTON (AP) - Its called momentum, this thing carrying Sen. Gary Hart on an exhilarating crest, and every politican knows it is the most valuable campaign currency a candidate can have. Its easy to see the magic it can work, but hard to measure, and harder still to predict. No one knows better than its current chief victim, former Democratic presidential frontwho runner Walter Mondale had it until they started voting in Iowa, New Hampshire and Maine. Vermont is next and Mondales aides speak of Tuesdays primary there as though it were a lost cause. And they concede Mondale could lose a week later March in Massachusetts, just the kind of state where Mondales labor and regular party backing might have been expected to guarantee victory until Hart seized the whip hand. nominee-in-waitin- uu c a big success Celebrate with us on Thurs., Fri. & Sot., March 8, 9 & 10 and save with our filter change only. . . .
