Show I 4. 16 Sun Advocate, Price, Utah Friday, May 27, 1 983 Carbon High applauds 46 adult graduates Adult high school graduates, their families and friends participated in commencement ceremonies at Carbon High School Wednesday evening. adults graduated Forty-si- x this year, compared to 33 in 1971, the first year the adult education program was started, said Kent L. Young, Adult Education director. The keynote speaker at the ceremonies was Carbon County School Board Vice President Phyllis Sillitoe. God gave us two ends, one to sit on and one to think with, she told the graduates. Heads you win, tails you lose. Mrs. Sillitoe emphasized the importance of education and told the graduates to use the Principal Eugene Crocco for the use of the school, Young said, Mr. Crocco has been very helpful and understanding with our night school students. As they picked up their diplomas, the graduates were obviously quite pleased and happy to have completed their knowledge they had worked so hard to get. Young asked if there were any people who had come from out of state to attend the ceremonies, adding that one year someone came from just to be at the Alabama graduation. When one man said he had driven from Salt Lake City, Young told him he must have felt as if he had come from out of state because of the mudslide blocking the highway in Spanish Fork Canyon. Young said he was pleased at the large turnout of families and friends. Its one of the best turnouts weve ever had at a graduation ceremony, he said. high school education. The diplomas were presented by Young, assisted by members of the Board of Education. , Thanking Carbon High School Dfl paDnaDnnDnnnnancnnnnnnnnnnnnntic-ricnnnnDnannannncjnnaaDnncanncJaD- P jn)(5 DINOSAUR TIRES is Q Prices 2 2 effective IffliWS nu on May 25 tn KAE)DM nu n u IT We (Gua ra ntee the Lowest Prices on Radial Radial Mud-Terrai- TA Radial All n Terrain TA TA ilFGoodrieh n u Radial TA's in Utah!! -- NO DEALERS PLEAS- E- Lifesaver Radial Advantage Mark Radial Sport Truck TA TA SAVE upo60 RADIAL TA nu ANDMORE tread for outstanding handling and traction Lower rolling resistance than for fuel economy Wide non-radia- ls EXAMPLE 18580R13 39.95 plus FET Limited quantities on some sizes hurry in for best selection.
